Herb Janick

Herb says he loves being a Springboard panelist – and he doesn't let frequent late-night arrivals home from his business travels prevent him from attending. A partner with Boston law firm Bingham-McCutchen, his practice is in general securities regulation and defense. Previously he was General Counsel for UBS Financial Services. He is currently President-Elect of the Securities and Exchange Commission Historical Society and is on the board of Preble Street. Growing up in Connecticut he spent several summers volunteering in southern Appalachia and encourages his own kids to volunteer. This year Herb was named one of "The Best Lawyers in America" by Woodward/White. His JD is from the University of North Carolina School of Law and his BA from Fairfield University.
