Process for becoming a Common Good Ventures Partner
Common Good Ventures typically adds only one to two partner organizations per year outside of our joint work with
Maine Community Foundation. If you feel you meet the partnership criteria, please initiate discussion with us by sending a brief description of your organization and why you are approaching Common Good Ventures to . We will respond to your inquiry within two weeks. If there seems to be a fit, we begin by learning more about your organization then determining whether it makes sense to schedule an initial in-person meeting with the Executive Director.
We often find that potential long-term partner candidates may instead be excellent
Affiliate Partner or
Springboard candidates and can guide you in that direction.
Every two years, through the Nonprofit Effectiveness Program of the Maine Community Foundation, Common Good Ventures joins the Foundation in considering three year partnership candidates through a formal application process. We expect the next RFP process for this program will begin in August 2008 for partnerships that begin in Spring 2009. Please see
