Bob Moore
In spite of his demanding role as President and Chief Operating Officer of Dead River Company, Bob finds time to act as an occasional Business Advisor for Common Good Ventures. His deep knowledge of due diligence practices involving mergers and acquisitions has proven especially helpful to Common Good Ventures' partners. Bob has a knack for sharing what he has learned in a relaxed and easily understood way. From financials to real estate-related issues, Bob can translate his for-profit experiences into useful tools for nonprofits.
Bob is a Maine native and graduate of University of Maine School of Law, is former Counsel to Governor John R. McKernan, Jr. and was a partner at the law firms of Pierce Atwood and Verrill Dana. He has served on the boards of several Maine companies and nonprofits and was a pilot in the US Navy.
