Growth Goal:

1. To expand programs and services by developing 16 units of supportive housing in Lewiston- Auburn. 2. To operate successful programs and establish a base of support among individuals and organizations in the community.

Strengths: Involved in local consortium of service providers (LAASH). Support from both municipalities. Recognized in Maine as a leader in homeless services and supportive housing.

Challenges: We have a gap in capital funds for this project of about $325,000. Our application for United Way funding for these projects has been denied. The uncertain economy; State and federal funding cuts for services. Rising construction/ development costs; NIMBY.
