Become a Corporate Circle Member
- Chris McCormick, CEO LL Bean -"L. L. Bean values the business discipline that Common Good Ventures instills in its nonprofit partners. The emphasis that CGV places on performance is a critical component for strengthening our nonprofit community. We consider our contributions to CGV to be a very worthwhile investment for all our stakeholders."
When you join the Common Good Ventures Corporate Circle, you are joining 30 leading Maine companies who share a commitment to helping Maine's nonprofits make real headway on pressing issues that affect our community and Maine's economy. Our Corporate Circle sends a strong message that results and performance matter just as much in the nonprofit world as in the private sector.
We periodically offer unique opportunities to our Corporate Circle members, such as small group discussions with national figures like Tom Tierney or a workshop on board governance for corporate leaders. Each year we also recognize our Corporate Circle members in statewide media, as well as our web and printed materials.
Charter Corporate Circle members make annual commitments of $10,000 to $30,000 to support Common Good Ventures' work. Corporate Circle members contribute $1,000 and up. Although not required, many of our Circle Members take advantage of the opportunity for their employees to both give back and grow professionally by volunteering their professional expertise as Springboard panelists or Business Advisors. We appreciate and value significant in-kind contributions and are occasionally able to offer membership on that basis as well.
