Foundation Partners
Common Good Ventures is proud of the many foundation partners who support our work and look to us to define standards for nonprofit performance and share what works with others across the country as well as in Maine.
We particularly value the long-standing alliance we have with the Maine Community Foundation with whom we run the "Program for Nonprofit Effectiveness." Since its debut in 2001, this competitive grant program has selected eight Maine nonprofits with strong potential and commitment to increasing their effectiveness and making an even more significant impact in one or more Maine communities. Over a three year period, each nonprofit benefits from the combination of funding from MaineCF with intensive business and management coaching from Common Good Ventures.
