Common Good Ventures is a team of experienced business people applying their professional expertise, their networks and their passion for change to help strong nonprofits realize their potential to accomplish even more for Maine.
With Common Good Ventures' support, nonprofits achieve increasingly ambitious social mission goals such as more "at-risk" youth graduating and going on to productive jobs or higher education and more rural adults being able to age in their homes with dignity and proper support. We help nonprofits address social challenges that directly affect Maine's economy.
Common Good Ventures' staff of business professionals and our talented private sector volunteers coach nonprofit leaders on how to adapt business practices and management thinking to become even more productive and financially self sufficient. Those skills and entrepreneurial mindset last long after our partnerships end.
Common Good Ventures is also introducing the latest in network thinking to Maine. We look for and support collaborations that allow nonprofits to play to their strengths. We believe nonprofits, business and government players must work in concert to address problems that are too big for any one group.
